Beastcoast Signs fRoD as Valorant Coach

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, March 16th, 2021 —  Beastcoast is leveling up in VALORANT with the signing of legendary CS player and coach, fRoD. fRoD has been working with Beastcoast’s VALORANT roster for the past month to level up their performance both in and out of the game.

Before joining beastcoast, fRoD coached T1’s VALORANT team to one of the top teams in NA. Formerly fRoD was a Professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Counter-Strike coach, manager and player. He is known for his time with Complexity Gaming and Evil Geniuses. He has worked with FaZe Clan’s Overwatch Team, later becoming their esports manager before returning to Counter-Strike and eventually switching to VALORANT. He was nominated for 'eSports Player of the Year' 2005, as well as for the 'North American Player of the Decade' for 2000 - 2010

“We're excited to welcome fRoD to the Beastcoast Valorant roster. He'll be helping our players reach their full potential and helping fill out our current roster. We knew when we had the opportunity to add a coach with a long history of success in both CS and Valorant that we had to take it and we're very happy to have fRoD join the team.”

Beastcoast was founded in 2017 and is a New York City based-esports organization focused on players’ interests and well-being and celebrating the diversity and charm of gaming communities both large and small. They have player representation in Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Mortal Kombat 11, Dota 2, Teamfight Tactic, VALORANT as well as a stellar cast of streamers. Their sponsors include: HyperX, Aorus, Four Loko, RESPAWN, Betway, and Intervent. Beastcoast recently participated in the Techstars Sports program in Indianapolis, Indiana.
