As an update to our Rainbow Six Siege roster, we’d like to announce that Matthew “zz” Legg will be leaving the team and Alexander “Retro” Lloyd will take his place as we move into our first season of the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League. We’d like to thank zz for his time with the team during Challenger League and for all the hard work he put into the season. Retro was instrumental in our victory over CLG in the Pro League relegation match, despite only beginning to practice with the team one week before the relegation match was played. Fans might remember Retro from his time on Continuum, when they won the Year 1 Season 3 Pro League Finals. Since taking a break from competitive Siege, he chose to return to play for beastcoast.

We’re going to hit the ground running in June! Fans can catch the beastcoast squad in action at DreamHack Austin, where we will compete in the open bracket portion of the event to earn a spot at the main event. After that we will play in the upcoming season of Pro League, which will last until the end of 2018.

“I’m very excited to be joining a team full of great people, and extremely confident in our ability to take Pro League by storm. Our ability to have fun and play to the best of our ability simultaneously is second to none. I’m thrilled to see what the future has in store for us.”

Alexander “Retro” Lloyd

“We’re thrilled to advance to Pro League after winning our relegation match against CLG, and very grateful to Retro for his strong performance with so little time to adapt to his new team. We’re sad to see zz go. He was instrumental to the team’s success in the regular season of Challenger League and we wish him the best. I believe with more time and practice together, this iteration of our roster has the potential to become one of the best in the world. We hope to have a good performance at DreamHack Austin, which will be the team’s first LAN event together.”
